Part of the iterative process of course design is evaluation. The Kirkpatrick model is a well-known way that many companies ensure their courses are effective.

Level 1 of the Kirkpatrick model focuses on the learner and how they view the course (Kirkpatrick Partners, n.d.). Course designers can find out if the learners found the course relevant, engaging, enjoyable, etc (North Dakota State University, n.d.). There are many ways in which learners can share their opinions. For my course, I chose to create an online survey.
